The DeFloria's Are Finally in Control!
 

I'll let Marjory DeFloria tell you herself:

"Dear John Cummuta,

I first heard your advertisement on my car radio. I thought heck, I had plenty of debt -- I could have plenty of wealth!! I groped for a pen and scribbled your number on one of my credit card bills!

I pulled in the driveway and jumped on the phone and called the number. A lovely lady took my information and after that, I almost forgot I did it when the box arrived! I thought, oh no, what did I buy into now? I saw 2 videos, 1 tape and a whole book of tapes, and a thick notebook full! I thought, who has time for this?

So I plopped in the video and low and behold. You talked to me and I recognized your Illinois accent right away, and I was mesmerized by all that you said. I hated being owned by others. I, at 50 years old, wanted my life back (If I ever had it in the first place). I have had debt as long as I can remember!! My husband drives a truck and you even mentioned that he's a walking millionaire! I thought, this is it! After watching the video with the cascading debt, I thought why didn't I think of that?!

So I played your tapes that just started a fire in me and I took all my credit cards and began cutting them up one by one and placed them into a zip-lock bag and wrote the words 'SOMEONE ELSE'S WEALTH' in a sharpie and tacked it up by my telephone. I also took your advice and used my favorite coffee mug and froze my VISA $18,000 credit line and never have been tempted to thaw it out once!

My kids certainly thought mom had lost it. They said, 'She really did freeze her credit line!' I used the software because I was too excited to do the calculations by hand and it was SO EASY!

It was October 10, 2003, that I wrote out my first bill paying scourge. I told my husband I could hardly wait till next month for bill paying time! I am only on my 6th month and already 3 credit cards are paid off forever, and another will happen in May 2004! Our happy PAY OFF  is SEPTEMBER 2006!!!

I have that plastered all over my walls. I also made big signs for every pay off! I feel like I have a second chance at living -- debt free!! I have never paid cash before. I am not sure what it will be like. But I am surely looking forward to it.

I wanted to write and thank you from the bottom of my heart, plus from the seams at the bottom of my wallet at this new chance to live debt free. I plan on being that 4% that planned retirement right! THANK YOU, JOHN. You've given me the controls I needed, and the incentives to get on the road to real WEALTH!
